There is a bit of math involved in figuring this out but an absorption time for 800Ah @ 48vdc assuming the Charge Rate is 10 would be 5 hrs.
The formula is :
Absorption Time (hours)=(Battery Capacity (Ah)/Charging Current (Amps))×k
k is is typically 0.2 - 0.3 for lead acid batteries.
Temperature Correction for a 48V system assuming the ambient temperature is 87° as an example would be 48.6V.
T = Ambient Temperature
Cn = Voltage / 2
Vn = Battery System Voltage
Vc = Corrected Voltage
The formula is :
Vc =Vn+(0.005×Cn×(T−77))/2
The formula is :
